A sixteen-year-old mystery solved

I forgot to inform blog world that three months or so ago, a sixteen-year-old mystery that readers were involved in was solved.

Back in 2012 I posted a dodgy youtube video of a recording from my time at L’Abri in Switzerland, which I’d also uploaded to youtube asking anyone who knew the piece of music to comment. Well, a few months ago someone actually did, and wonderfully let me ¬†know it’s Serenade by Wilhelm Peterson-Berger (I think they spelt the name wrong in the comment, but it’s Swedish, so who knows), and is one of his four dance poems. So wonders will never cease.

You can listen to an “official” recording here. The first minute is what I think is beautiful.
